Steps and whole garage and estate area is full of weeds and overgrown trees and shrubs

For years the whole area in the bottom part of Abbey View has been neglected with overgrown vegetation and trees. The grass cuttings when the grass is cut is just left but in other areas of Hexham they are swept up. There is a bin in the middle of large clumps of nettles the corner of the estate, people won’t use it if they are going to get stung. The path way at the corner of Greebanks leading round the estate is also full of nettles and weeds and this is a public right of way used by children going to the local first school and walkers not just residents. Recently the council road sweeper was seen outside the old middle school cleaning the path and actually removing weeds from the verge but that has never happened in this area.
We pay our council taxes the same as other areas but do not receive the same services
