Scaffolding

This scaffolding hasn’t got any warning signs or lights. It is also taking up most of the path which is causing a danger to public using footpath as having to walk on road. Also further up the road there is work happening with Northumbria water where they have appropriate warning signs but again you are unable to walk on footpath. All in all this is very dangerous. When mentioned to home owner he was very arrogant I will do as I please. Has he even got planning permission as I couldn’t find it on your website.

    NWL's traffic management had been cleared away before I arrived on site. There is at now at least 1.0m clearance in the footway and protective foam around the scaffolding poles. The scaffolding company are not obliged to put out advanced signs or provide warning lights. The scaffolding company have now been reported by NCC for not paying a permit fee to put their scaffolding on public land.
