Condition of road surface

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7787063.

The road through Shilbottle to the A1 via Northside is in a poor condition, compared to the surface of the road from Shilbottle down to Alnwick railway station. Question is why does that road have a good surface when Northside to the A1 is so bad? Part of this route is a bus route, and the whole length has a lot more traffic than the Road to the station.
