Drainage channel has dropped

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7786101.
Drainage channel installed last year to prevent flooding on road. Unfortunately part of the metal grid has collapsed under the weight of 2 fire engines reversing down the road. In addition the drainage channel is blocked with detritus along the length of it.

Problem not resolved as does not meet immediate repair criteria! The grate was installed (at great cost) less than 12 months ago to alleviate flooding. However, this only works if the grate is cleared on a regular basis. Additionally, one of the grates has collapsed and could be viewed as a trip hazard or potential danger to vehicles.
