Overgrown vegetation on verge

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7781120.

The grass is now so long on this verge that it is a considerable hazard for drivers in both directions. You just can't see a car coming until it is compoletely on top of you

    Although a narrow strip of verge has been mown since I first asked for help, it has made no difference to visability. Today I witnessed yet another very near miss as a car trying to turn into Kirkharle Courtyard was nearly hit by a car travelling at speed on the B6342. The elderly occupants were very shaken. The whole corner needs to be mown as has happened in past years. Thank you

  • There were grass cutters at the junction of A696 and A6342 (not dangerous for sightline) so I was hopeful that our corner had been done but NO! Several other people have complained about same area. Please remedy , its an accident waiting to happen.
