Dangerous resurfacing on the bridge 400m south of wooler

Reported via mobile in the Surface Condition category anonymously at 09:13, Fri 27 June 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7772176.

Resurfacing has taken place on the a697 south of wooler and they have made such a mess of the resurfacing on the bridge I have to report it as it causes vehicles to sway and shudder dangerously on a negative camber corner at height with no guard rails either side. I came over this for the first time at 55mph and nearly lost control hitting the resurfacing due to the violent pitch changes I then witnessed a lorry go over nearly bouncing across the white line this is very dangerous and needs fixed as somebody will crash and it will not be a small crash with the location of the awful repairs.
