Potential to block the future instalment of a double driveway.

Reported via mobile in the Trees in public parks and open spaces category anonymously at 09:22, Tue 24 June 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7754004.

I am writing to request the relocation of a tree that was planted approximately three years ago directly outside our property, No:33 Ridley Avenue, Blyth. As the tree is still in an early stage of growth, we believe now would be an ideal time to consider moving it with minimal disruption.

We are currently planning to install a double driveway, and we are concerned that the tree’s current position may pose access issues as it matures. To prevent future obstruction caused by the trunk or canopy, we kindly ask that the tree be relocated approximately 4 to 5 feet to the right of its current location.

We hope the council will give this request due consideration. Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact me on 07722 883371.

Kind regards, Mr. Armstrong
