Back Lane verge

This verge has always been neglected by the council - Since the new estate the contractor has pushed all the verge over to the road to erect the fences - the council removed a light cutting down a tree and leaving the rubbish , there is old fence posts and barbed wire left in a pile in the verge - the verge overspills on the road - its a disgrace and needs to be tidied up - 2 trees need to be left in situ - but need trimming and so does some shrubbery - but the state the contractors have created is just awful

  • Still dangerous barbed wire, metal fencing, overgrown shrubs , trees growing out of the road surface - its a disgrace the council have NEVER looked after this verge and now its time they did - please can someone address this issue ?

  • The Ignorance of the council is beyond belief - this system is unfit for purpose. Ive not had any contact about this disgrace in over 4 months - really !!!! Does the council actually care ?
