Reported via mobile in the Ploughing/cropping category by Valerie Learmonth at 11:51, Fri 13 June 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7704608.
This is a public, well used right of way that has been ploughed up. This is against the law and must have a 1.5 m wide path reinstated immediately before a walker breaks an ankle trying to walk along the path that is clearly marked on the map.

Unable to walk this public footpath as unable to see where path is as totally obliterated by waist/ shoulder high vegetation planted by the farmer. It is illegal to plough up a footpath at the edge of a field.

No visible, walkable footpath. Where the footpath once was is now tall, thick vegetation that you need to push through. Not pleasant as you end up soaking wet. This is a once popular path that people are now unable to enjoy using. It is time NCC had this sorted and footpath reinstated.
