Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7701746.
Can I ask if someone could drive up the comb hill from the bottom right up to the military road, turn around and come back down on the other side ? ….not in a sturdy work van though, just in a normal car,I drove both ways tonight for the first time in a while and I was shook to bits,my poor little car won’t know whats hit it,there are pot holes, poor road surface, raised bits where tarmac has been thrown at it,collapsed edges, overgrown verges,it really is unkempt. I know it all comes down to money but my opinion is this road needs resurfaced. Several weeks ago the A69 was closed due to a RTA and many people ( including the 685 bus,I was behind it ) used the comb hill to access the town and it’s really not in an acceptable condition….oh and the 30mph road markings have worn off too coming down the hill.
Thank you
