Series of potholes along West View and towards John Street from West View

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7691329.

Potholes which have previously been ‘patched’ a few weeks ago are now worn away again and need repairing before someone falls or cars suspensions are damaged. This is an ongoing issue which the council can’t seem to understand that by simply filling and then hitting flat with the back of a shovel won’t solve, yet this seems to be the preferred method of ‘repair’.

  • Whilst a single pothole has been filled rather than fixed, there are others which have not been looked at. The whole road needs resurfacing on this stretch.
