Trees overhang

Reported via mobile in the Trees blocking TV/phone signal or light category by Jennifer Butson at 14:26, Monday 12 May 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7557267.

The council trees have been allowed to get far too big and tall. Two trees on our and our neighbours boundaries are only 10 feet from our fences. Tall, leggie, one of the branches wavers in the wind, they overhang our gardens. Our lovely sunny garden is now cold and dark until 3:30pm when the sun gets past the trees, by which time it’s cooling down. Reported this last year and nothing done, but worse this year. Ideally the tree would be cut down as it is now far two leggie and tall for the position. As a good neighbour, you are responsible for them and you should be cutting them. Please cut them.
