A Trees in public parks and open spaces problem has been found

Reported via desktop in the Trees in public parks and open spaces category anonymously at 15:05, Tuesday 15 April 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7439396.

Who is responsible for Gallagher Park? It was my understanding that yourselves are responsible for this site. I would like to report that there are a number of trees that have fallen or leaning over - some on top of others - which looks like this is due to trees not having enough space for roots to grow (overcrowding of trees). Also, there is one area where there look like there has been fire damage. And finally, there is lots of litter and poo bags been dumped - also look like some fly tipping has been done. The amount of poo bags I picked up while walking was just ridiculous, and I don't even have a dog.
