Non-compliance with Planning Permission

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7438674.

When planning permission was granted (16/04428/DISCON) this company had to provide 10 parking bays for customers and 9 parking bays for staff. This was never done or enforced and both customers and staff park park on the pavement thereby blocking save passage for pedestrians.

  • This parking problem is getting worse, I sometimes have to walk on the road because of ignorant drivers parking and blocking the footpath.

  • The situation is getting worse and there are times when you have to walk along the main A196 carriageway and be exposed to the speeding vehicles. This is totally unacceptable, particularly when I received my new Council Tax bill today

  • Obviously a serious case of Ostrich Syndrome has infected the NCC Planning Enforcement Department. Could I remind you that this is an obvious breach of the conditions issued by your Department when Planning Permission was granted.
