Footpath obstructed with locked construction fencing

The obstruction is located at New Farm Cottage, affecting the path that runs from Mitford. There are no diversion signs in place, making it unclear how walkers should proceed.

  • Please provide an update on this. Last I checked the footpath was still obstructed and not able to be used.

  • For clarification the obstruction is locked construction fencing fully enclosing a gateway through which the footpath passes. If this fencing is necessary, then signage and alternative diversion should be provided at appropriate points in the footpath.
