Tree Pollarding

Reported via mobile in the Trees in public parks and open spaces category anonymously at 12:21, Friday 14 March 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7278333.

Hi the trees in St John’s cemetery at the rear of the Wansbeck Manor Estate NE63 0HR started to get pollarded last year.

We were under impression that the rest of the works would resume in February 2025

Can you pass to relevant department to find out when the trees will get pollarded please ?

Updates

  • Your report has been forwarded to the appropriate department. Please note, we are only able to inspect trees that are dead, damaged, diseased or causing a physical obstruction as a priority. All general tree maintenance work requests that are causing no risk of harm to people or property will be dealt with as resources allow.

We are unable to provide a time frame for inspections and works relating to low priority requests. For more information follow https://www.northumberland.gov.uk/ Highways/ Report-a-tree-issue.aspx.
