Stile and fencing has been demolished and pushed into the undergrowth. The fingerpost is buried in vegetation albeit the lane is closed off (by MOD gates and razor wire fencing) at the start of the footpath. The footpath is used intermittently for accessing an AirB&B by walkers on Hadrian's Wall long distance path.
