Thick mud on path from railway crossing to road leading to Red House Farm. Mud starts from gateway of 2 houses on left of footpath, just past crossing.

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7194530.
There have been numerous complaints about mud on the road and the wide path that runs alongside the new housing development (St Michael's Avenue/Hester Gardens). The mud is falling off the lorries leaving the building site. There have been road cleaners in this area but not further down where the mud on the path, as I described above, is thick and dangerously slippy.

The street cleaner very kindly went over the path and cleaned it. The dry weather has also improved the conditions. I expect it will get muddy again if it rains and the lorries are once again covered in mud. Could you perhaps add the path to the schedule of cleaning so it gets swept on a regular basis.
