Dead Ash tree within highway boundary

Reported via desktop in the Trees affecting highways or pavements category by Mark Cuddigan at 12:00, Mon 17 February 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7145794.

We can say that our recent periodic estate roadside tree survey identified a number of dying ash trees that are now Class 4. Class 4 (Tree Council and Forestry Commission classification) indicates 1. Vitality (Leaves in the Crown): 25-0% (as assessed autumn 2024) 2. Risk level: “Elevated risk depending on location and secondary infections” 3. Actions: “For Class 4 trees next to a public highway action should be arranged to remove the hazard”

We have felled a number ourselves situated on our land but we ask the NCC to deal with these 1. Image 1024 attached. On C82 road near junction with A697. What3words: hiked/overlooks/storage
