Blocked road drains

Reported via mobile in the Blocked - Flooding of Road/Path category by Jonathan Storey at 08:08, Monday 17 February 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7144120.

Almost every road drain between Hexham cemetery and the A69 is blocked. This has been reported numerous times, but has never been attended to. All it needs is a couple of hours with a guzzler, so what is the problem. The maintenance of road drains in South Northumberland is a disgrace, and in many rural areas, is resulting in damaged vehicles and extreme danger for cyclists.
