Top dressing of road B1331 repairs already coming away

This was reported and closed off over a year ago. Surely there should have been some sort of guarantee of workmanship to have this redone correctly. White lines were not restored. Highways said it was deemed to slow traffic down! Previous white lines are now revealing themselves. Original message read " Top dressing of recent road repairs along the full length of the B1331 in Nedderton is already coming away in long patches revealing the original road which had the central white lines underneath. All the loose gravel is strewn across the road edge and footpaths. Why this was not compacted down by a roller beats me as this would have avoided all the above issues. This has been reported to Council already but no response. It must have been an expensive job so surely there must be some sort of guarantee on the work."

  • THe B1331 Nedderton Village will be surface dressed this summer as part of the 2025 Surface Dressing Programme. I am unable to give you an exact date of the works yeat as we are currently inspecting and programming the area. As soon as I know dates of the works I will share this with you.
