Spring water flooding road

For the last couple of years there has been a problem at the top of Cheviot Street because after a wet spell a spring discharges water onto the road and there is no drain access to take it away until beyond the entrance into the Youth Hostel. This may be a problem for road maintenance all year but our problem is that during the winter this water can freeze creating a large area of sheet ice. Accidents and access difficulties are inevitable until this problem is solved.
