Massive sheets of grey polystyrene in trees

Reported via iOS in the Fly-tipping category anonymously at 11:24, Wednesday 1 January 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6917584.

Massive sheets of grey polystyrene stuck in trees along the path between the dual carriage way & the cycle path. I can see this was also reported on 27th December but there’s a lot more now. Some of the pieces have to be 5ft long, if they blow onto the road or into a car it will cause a major accident.

The hedges between building site & path are covered in building rubbish, more polystyrene sheets, dumpy bags, plastic, red & white tape.

I’ve reported this numerous times over the last few years & it always comes back as not ncc responsibility, I understand it’s from the building site. They need to be made to stop it, from talking to people who work on building sites. They have people who are paid to make sure rubbish is contained on site & disposed of properly so some one isn’t doing their job correctly at Persimmons! This is the worst I’ve ever seen it.
