This pothole has been here for months have reported Birney edge potholes lots of times Pothole in road and no street lights so foot went down hole in the dark and hurt foot and trainer wet and ruined very dangerous thank you

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction is assessed on a road. For a footway we will instruct repairs at an intervention level of ≥ 20mm. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team up inspection.
