Litter at side of A1

Litter at the side of the A1 has been there several weeks. It is an eyesore, unhygienic and gives a bad impression of the A1 and Berwick. Please could it be removed safely as soon as possible. Thank you

  • The problem has not been fixed. I opened another report and was told they had gone to the wrong place. There is still unpleasant and unhygienic litter by the side of the A1 from the Berwick roundabout by the garden centre going South, the first 100 metres is mostly clear but the litter starts after that.

  • Have had a reply from NCC saying that they need to prepare risk assessment, safe way of working etc and then they will try to clean up that area

  • Litter picking team have been stopped from working on the A1
