Road marking

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6797017.

The road markings coming down from Whetstone Bridge Road that meets the Hellpool Lane are wearing off the road, which means that people are just driving straight out the junction as they tune right, I have a relative that I visit every day that lives on Beech Hill and I have had numerous numbers of near misses as people just pull out. It's wore at School arrival and departure times as you can imagine. Would it be possible to make the single broken give way lines into a STOP line or a giveaway to traffic double Broken line, as this might make people stop before they pull out. Thank you for your help in this matter x
