Tree fell across the road in front of my car and blocked the road.

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6715519.

The tree fell across the road as I was travelling west and I was lucky to be able to stop in time. With another driver we managed to pull it off the fence on the opposite side of the road and swing it back to north side and lay it behind a road sign to retain it off the carriageway. The fences and trees on both sides do not appear to be managed very well.
