Trip hazard for pedestrians

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6680972.

Yesterday I tripped in this pavement pothole. It's in the middle of the pavement. I damaged my hand and seriously banged my head against the pavement as a result of the fall.

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction is assessed on a road. For a footway we will instruct repairs at an intervention level of ≥ 20mm. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team up inspection.
