We are currently investigating this matter. These units appear to be shrouded by privately owned trees, we have issued a ticket for one of our operatives to attend and assess which properties these are from. Under the Highways Act, we can request property owners to trim or remove trees/vegetation that obstructs any public highway or highway asset. Once, we have confirmation on the owners, we will send out communication to request these be trimmed. All responsibility for damage will fall to the owner of the trees and therefore, we would recommend discussing with the owners as to any issues with this.
