Never flooded in 100 years till the council changed the pavement.
Reported via desktop in the Blocked - Flooding of Private Property category by Richard Craig Smith at 17:49, Tue 8 October 2024
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6567776.
110 years this building has stood and has never flooded. Northumberland county council and their vanity project replace the pavement out the front of the store and we flood. I report to the council emergency line and get the rudest nasty person I have ever spoke to. No empathy no understanding nothing. The gent told me it wasn’t the councils fault the store has flooded even though it never flooded before they replaced the pathway out the front of the store. EVER !!!! Shop flooded lost trade Northumberland county council do not care!

New drain has still not been fixed, no-one cares and no-one is held accountable at the C.C. I will clean it myself on Friday morning and film it and post it all over Facebook will take about 15 mins to complete... Whoever the manager is that deals with this is a complete and utter waste of time and my tax money..
