Severely overgrown hedges on school run

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6563631.

Several parents and guardians have reported overgrown hedges on way down to school. It had now grown so much adults and children struggle to walk safely on the path along the welfare field. The section from the school bollards down is neatly trimmed and tidy and a credit to the homeowner adjacent to the school. This had been like this for several months. Children are being scratched and hurt by overhanging branches of thorn and brambles. It's forcing families onto a dangerous road with construction vehicles using the road for nearby building work. A total disgrace it's still not sorted and council fobbing people off saying it's not their responsibility. It needs sorted asap.
