Overgrown trees blocking light in garden

Reported via mobile in the Trees blocking TV/phone signal or light category anonymously at 14:04, Tue 17 September 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6481725.

The trees in the council House 2 door away at 2 Weldon Road have steadily been growing without any maintenance for years. I have complained several times and someone was going to come a look at the problem. The trees are now taller than the house and due to the height leave over half of my garden in shade for the day. Because of the lack of light I am now getting moss on my fence and grass.

Can these trees no be cut down as I can’t be the only neighbour that this affects.
