Grass cutting

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6215538.

The grass verge to the south of the entrance/exit from High Callerton is owned by the Council but is not cut on a regular basis. The residents had to cut it last time. If the grass gets high the sight line when existing High Callerton is obscured - which is very dangerous when cars coming towards Ponteland are coming at speed round a corner and down a hill. It is an accident in the making and it is the Council’s responsibility to maintain this grass verge. For the avoidance of doubt the plans from HM Land Registry confirm that this verge is owned by the Council.
