Derelict caravan
Reported via mobile in the Abandoned Vehicle category anonymously at 19:47, Wed 10 July 2024
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6215393.
Previous contact with Ian Bryson and Liz Dunn - no action has been made. This issue has now been going on for over two years and there has further damage been made. Unfortunately we did not witness anything in action so there was no reason to contact the police regarding this. (Previously this is something we have been recommended to do). Myself and my partner are really fed up with this issue, I know it is difficult one but I do believe if this was happening in Ellington (previous resident) it simply wouldn’t be put up with. Parts of the caravan have been coming onto the back lane and onto our driveway. The main door is now open which is going to be high risk for pests and vermin. - huge environmental risk!
Surely there is some community support or some support from the parish which could be offered to simply get rid of the caravan? It is an environmental risk and is a target for youths in the local village.
As you can see in the photos the caravan is so close to our boundaries and next to our drive way where we have two new cars.
I’m really hoping you can help to drive my complaint further, we seem to be no further forward and not sure who to go to next.
Caravan is 34 third row, Linton.
