Dangerous obstruction

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6181998.

British Telecom green box x 2 on junction Darras Road with Eastern Way. Car accident on 1/7/2024 has knocked over box. This box is causing an OBSTRUCTION for drivers approaching this junction. There has been numerous accidents/near misses over recent years.

Due to the positioning of the main green box drivers/pedestrians CANNOT clearly see any oncoming traffic. I have had numerous incidents whereby I only see oncoming traffic at the last minute causing a near miss.

The box needs moving BACK a couple of feet so there is NO obstruction and drivers/pedestrians can CLEARLY see oncoming traffic.

I am convinced that due to this ongoing danger that there will be serious harm/death if not moved
