20 signs on the road

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6160223.

The new 20 zones around Alnwick Town centre. 20 signs on the road would be great to. It will especially help L drivers getting honked at for doing the speed limits (slow) from other drivers

  • Most of Alnwick town centre is now a 20 zone. It would be useful for the council to paint 20 on the road to help road user's as most 20 signs are restricted from vision from trees or parked vehicles.

  • The sooner this is done the better. Learner driver's are getting abuse from full licence holders for doing 20 in the 20 zones as they either don't see the signs or not obeying. Consequently learner's are bullied to go faster hence then failing a driving test. Residential areas everyone gets the 20 zones, so please try and sort this ASAP
