Very long grass continued

Reported via mobile in the Grass Cutting category anonymously at 17:53, Wed 12 June 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6100289.

The grass at the entry to Harcar Court has been cut today but yet again the area on the cul de sac has been left again. It has previously been cut by the council so I don't understand why it keeps getting left. The grass at the hub has been left again too. When driving through Bamburgh the other day I noticed that every bit of grass there is cut to within an inch of its life, looking pristine. I'm a bit fed up of Seahouses being the poor relation. Please fix my problem.

  • Apparently the problem is "fixed". The grass next to Seahouses Hub is still ridiculously long. I was told that the Hub asked the council to stop cutting the grass. I was under the assumption that the Hub belonged to the council, I wasn't aware that it is a private enterprise. I simply don't understand why whoever is in control of the Hub building would not want the grass to be cut.
