Unavoidable pothole

Reported via mobile in the Potholes category anonymously at 15:04, Thu 30 May 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6039991.

Not entirely sure how long this pothole has been here for. However, i hit this pothole lastnight (29/05) at around 10:30pm and it has made significant damage to my car, bursting the tyre. I thankfully managed to get home and get the spare tyre on. I took my car to the garage and needed a whole new tyre as the inner wall crumbled. I got told that I was lucky to make it home without any further damage to my car as it was really unsafe. So I’d like to make a claim on this. Thank you!
