The pavement passing Hipsburn school is obstructed by an overgrown hedge.

It is impossible to pass any other pedestrian without going into the road the same when walking with a child or dog you have no option but to walk in the road. Wing mirrors on double decker buses on the route pass very close if the driver cannot go over the centre line due to traffic in the opposite direction. This happens every year from this time onwards, it has been reported to the parish council, I’m not sure if that is the correct procedure, but eventually someone comes later in the year a trims a small amount off the new growth rather than a hard cut back so each year we are left with less and less safe walking space.
