Path way almost unpassable

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category by sarah hayward at 13:11, Tue 28 May 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6029396.

Hi please could the cycle-path way from Cramlington to Blyth Beach be looked at. In parts (nearer the beach) the bushes/plants on each side are so overgrown it whips you in the face & only wide enough for 1 person at a time so have to stop to pass someone coming the other way. It would be a shame to have a cycle path that you can no longer cycle on Thanks so much.

  • Used this route yesterday, worse then ever & can only be passed single filed at parts. Plants coming from both sides scratching hands on handle bars. Not be long before council receives claim for compensation for having eye scratched from plant branches etc
