Trees on Northbound side of road overhang road and cause traffic to straddle centre of road.

Reported via desktop in the Trees affecting highways or pavements category anonymously at 12:11, Thu 23 May 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6011231.

Trees on the Northbound (ie. downhill side of road) overhang carriageway forcing vehicles into centre of road with consequent risk of collision. Enormous coaches carrying children to the Dukes House Centre and in fact most vehicles keep wide of the trees to prevent damage to their vehicles and they cause a danger to other motorists and pedestrians who are forced onto the carriageway by shrubs oevrhanging the pavement on the opposite side of the road. this needs urgent / regular attention before the trees put on even more growth and cause the retaining wall to collapse.
