Trees need topping and thinning

Reported via mobile in the Trees in housing estates category anonymously at 08:56, Wednesday 22 May 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6005018.

Moderated by Northumberland County Council at 10:02, Wednesday 22 May 2024

there is a fourth which I couldn't attach the picture of. a large branch which needs to come off as well as thinning. It’s particularly dense They are all sycamore. All 4 trees produce a huge amount of dripping sap last year. There were huge globules of sap everywhere . they are extremely large and need maintained. Now whilst the leaves are on would be a good time to send out someone to see how big they actually are

  • I would appreciate a telephone call about this issue. Two of the trees are very close to our property 07890745001

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 09:10, Wednesday 19 June 2024

  • Four trees were inspected by a member of the tree team. 3 trees have been identified for pruning works. One did not reach criteria for any work. Our records show that two of the trees were pruned in 2021.

The issue of sap dropping is not a reason to carry out pruning works.
