Grass at side of house long and unstrimmed
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6003324.
I had to report this problem last year. Yet again the council owned land adjacent to the side of our property has not been strimmed it has been cut but not strimmed and is making our property look unkempt, awful and neglected. We pay a lot of council tax and every year I have to complain before any strimming is done!

It's 2 weeks since I reported this and I have heard nothing back from the council. I do wonder what I pay my council tax for. 🤔 The grass must be over 2 feet long. It looks shocking and makes the land at the side of our house look a mess! Why can't the guys who cut the grass with the sit on mowers carry strimming tools so it can all be done at the same time? I think that's how it used to be done. It's June now and this grass hasn't been strimmed at all since last year when it was only done once and that was after I had to complain too. We shouldn't have to complain before this is done! My daughter lives on another estate in Cramlington and their council owned grass on her estate is atrocious very little or no cutting done despite her complaining too.

Has anyone read this report? 3 weeks since I reported it and I'm still no further forward. I have had no response from anyone. The grass and weeds have grown even longer and wilder. What do I have to do to get something done about this. The place looks an eyesore! If I withhold my council tax I don't think that would be ignored! Can someone please do something about this??

Still no action or response or acknowledgement about this! Don't know what the point of fixmystreet is. No one is interested or does anything to help. They only take your council tax for little in return.
