Tree overhanging and touching home

Reported via mobile in the Trees damaging private property category anonymously at 13:35, Sat 11 May 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5959751.

I have reported the tree to the side of my home several times and late 2023 I got a letter through my door saying someone had visited and you would return. On this occasion, you cut back the tree behind it, which was much smaller than ours.

I have not had any further communication. I have been reporting this tree for the best part of 3 years now.

I will attach photos to this but it very much needs cut back as it is now over my garage and house roof. In the bad wind the branches scrape my roof.

We are currently getting our roof and gutter fixed. The gutter is continuously getting filled with items off the tree, this is bad around this time of year and then again late autumn when the leaves fall. It causes issues in the guttering. I am worried the tree is now going to damage our new roof due to being close to the tiles too.
