Speed detection

Reported via desktop in the Request Timing Review category anonymously at 15:46, Wednesday 17 April 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5866157.

The, flashing, warning sign is coming on and warning for 30 when doing far less. I have driven at an indicated 25 it still warns me I am doing over 30. There is a danger that it will be ignored as people know it is wrongly set.

  • Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

After an initial assessment it appears to be an internal fault with the sign rather than a programming issue.

The manufacturer has been contacted and will be attending site to resolve the issue.
