Road surface crumbling and breaking up

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5818221.

At the bottom of Boulmer Avenue near, 24, 26 and 28. The road surface is crumbling and breaking up. This has caused my husband to skid several times on his bike. It's unsafe, very gritty.

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team.
