Potholes and poor road surface

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 09:36, Tuesday 5 March 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5669756.

At the entrance to Holystone Avenue there are potholes and the road surface is the poor condition. This was reviewed in January and the council said there was nothing actionable. This needs to be looked at again instead of fobbing council tax payers off with excuses.

  • The job is half done, the road still has a number of potholes which will get worse. This was a typical council botch job.
