All Pottery Bank gulleys blocked

Reported via mobile in the Blocked - Flooding of Road/Path category by DR COLIN F COATES at 16:07, Saturday 17 February 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5591238.

Almost every roadside gulley on Pottery Bank is blocked . This causes considerable water flow on the road making things difficult for drivers and misery for pedestrians who get soaked by traffic. To make matters worse the paths a roadside is never swept. In addition large lorries leaving the Persimmon development are dumping mud and stones on the road!

  • If you haven't organised a gulley clearer to do this work then clearly there is no ridiculous need to ask me this . Of course the drains on Pottery Bank are all still blocked causing a sever nuisance to motorists, pedestrians, cyclists and nearby residents. Why not just do the work it would be by far the easiest option. BTW I walk past these gulleys every day and 90% of them are completely blocked and about to start growing a healthy crop of weeds!!
