Huge tree very close to property
Reported via mobile in the Trees in housing estates category anonymously at 09:32, Mon 12 February 2024
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5564392.
I am concerned about the size of this tree and the close proximity to our property. There are several trees in the same field which have come down in recent storms. If this tree were to fall it would flatten my house starting with my baby girl’s bedroom. In windy weather I set alarms to wake me in the night to check on it as I am so concerned about it falling. The tree over hangs my property and it’s top branches appear less than 2 metres from my house. In spring the branches are so low than pedestrians can not pass on the cycle path. I would be very grateful if one of your experts could survey this tree to give us peace of mind. I thank you in advance.
