Dangerous tree

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5516492.

A large tree has been blown over by the strong winds, it is overhanging the public right of way that runs from the southern end of Park Road and along the field edge. It’s a regularly walked route and the tree is in a dangerous position.

    The tree is still hanging above the public footpath as of today. Over the past few years I’ve removed several trees from the footpath in order to save you a job. However, in this case, I can’t get to it…

    The situation with this tree has worsened since I last reported it. It has now completely sheared off at the base and is suspended above the public right of way. It will kill or seriously injure someone if it does fall when people are passing underneath it. This is a very well used footpath.
